Bollywood Movies 2015

It's been a rather quiet year for Bollywood, with very few movies managing to win us over. However, there were some films that did stand out heavily and competed well against it's rivals so we will still pick out our top five influencers that made the box-office set on fire.

1. Bajrangi Bhaijaan

Bajrangi Bhaijaan

Salman Khan seems to have some sort of golden touch nowadays, since a good number of his films in the recent past have had a glorious run at the box office. Bajrangi Bhaijaan is just the same, as the moving tale of an Indian man escorts a Pakistani girl back to her home won the heats of many people and fails to disappoint anyone with this fascinating story-line.

2. Tamasha

This thrilling romantic drama finds its way to the top 5 purely for it's performances and intriguing narrative. These characters aren't the typical couple with a romantic relationship who spend hours singing to each other, instead they are unique and both have similar minds to dream as freely as possible which is why it is a magnificent creation for 2015.

 3. Bajirao Mastani

Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra all pitch a stellar act to make Bajirao Mastani into the top five Bollywood movies of 2015. It’s the work of a film-maker recruiting in-every-sense hot leads to cast off their traditional garb and attempt something that seems very modern. This film is all about India’s famous warrior Bajirao and his lady love Mastani which makes the plot visually spectacular to watch.

4. Prem Ratan Dhan Payo

Prem Ratan Dhan Payo was completed with a masterstroke, to top it off, the producer roped in Salman Khan to up the film’s star value a million notches. Salman Khan set a benchmark for the ultimate Boy Scout with his Bajrangi Bhaijaan act, and now he surprises us even more with this amazing film. His character is so virtuous that you will walk out of the cinema fighting a morality crisis. All in all this film was fantastic which is why you should consider watching this now!

5. Dilwale

Dilwale

It may not be in the top rankings of 2015 just yet due to it's release in December however, Dilwale is proving to be one of the highest ranked Bollywood films of 2015 making the most revenue of 2015 from it's release. Kajol, SRK's co-star of several unforgettable films, adds incredible weight to this keenly anticipated project. In addition, several enviable names, on and off screen, lend muscle to the enterprise. The canvas is gigantic as well. It can't get bigger than Dilwale, honestly.
