For all our Grooms, Sherwani King helps create a groomsmen theme which is stylish, convenient and cost effective for maximum participation. We have a diverse range of options for all ages and have experience in tailoring for events of all sizes; from the best man - to over 100 outfits for multiple day events.
For added convenience, we even offer a fitting outcall service in which our tailor would visit your hometown or desired location to take measurements for groups of 8+.

Q. How long is an appointment?
A. For first time customers, we provide a one-hour appointment to ensure the experience covers all questions and ideas. Fitting appointments generally last 30 minutes

Q. Do you have customer parking?
A. There is a free parking outside the Solihull branch. Parking is also available outside the London branch (free after 6pm and on weekends)
Q. I haven’t decided on a colour or style, can you help me?
A. Yes – we provide full advice and consultation based on your event style, theme (if needed), matching accents with bride etc.
Q. If I like a design on your website, can I customize it with my own changes?
A. Yes – We create the best and latest designs which are award winning in our industry and if any changes could better meet your requirements, we’ll always advise you accordingly.
Q. What should I bring with me for the appointment?
A. For grooms, we recommend you bring a swatch or colour code matching the bridal outfit main colour. This will assist in selecting accessory colours and styles. If the colour is not available at the time of the appointment, it can also be added after the order is placed. However, this may delay the order completion deadline.
Q. What happens after I have selected a design?
A. We will take body measurements and confirm all specifications including accessories, colours, turban specs etc. The order is then placed with a 50 percent deposit payable by cash or credit / debit card. An email receipt is provided upon order placement.
Q. What happens after I have placed my order?
A. The order is processed and forwarded to our specialist production team, who will create your bespoke outfit
Q. How long does it take for my order to arrive?
A. Our standard lead time is 6 weeks from order placement to arrival in the showroom. An urgent service up to 3 weeks is also available dependent on design / specification.
Q. What happens after my order arrives?
A. An email will be sent you confirming arrival of your order, and requesting for you to book your fitting appointment on our website
Q. What happens at a fitting appointment?
A. When you arrive fpr your fitting appointment, you try on your full outfit to ensure it has been created to your exact style and specification. Once everything is checked and is confirmed, the the remaining balance is paid the order items are collected. A fitting appointment usually lasts 30 minutes unless there are multiple outfits to try on.
Q. What if the outfit is too small or large?
A. Outfits are designed to provide a perfect fit based on the measurements we record. However we understand that alterations can sometimes be required. Accordingly, we provide free-of-charge alterations as required for each outfit. The alterations take up to one week for completion.
Q. Do you provide ceremonial swords?
A. Sword hire service is available at some locations – the charge is £50 for five days. There is also a £50 deposit required which is refunded when the sword is returned. Sword collection & return (where offered) is on weekdays only, 10am to 2pm
Q. Do you provide outfits for the best man, or family members?
A. Yes – we have a range of styles designed specifically for these categories to ensure your friends & family members are also looking their best – without upstaging the groom!
Q. Do you provide groom's accessories?
A. Yes – we provide all accessories needed for a Sherwani set – and more! A basic 4 piece Sherwani suit comes with Sherwani, shirt, trousers and shoes. Accessory options include embroidered shawl, turban, pearl necklace, turban jewellery, pleated kurta shirt, ceremonial belt & sword.
Q. What type of shirt and trousers are provided with the Sherwani suit?
A. We provide the standard Asian kurta pajama suit, a loose fitting dress worn underneath the Sherwani. The pajama (trousers) can be worn straight cut or churidar (ringed) style.
Q. Which type of shoes do you provide?
A. For Sherwani suits, we provide a choice of classic Indian ‘Maujri (also known as khusa) shoes, or alternatively loafer shoes. You can specify your choice after viewing both options during your appointment. The shoes are customised in the same style as the Sherwani. We can also provide dress shoes with matching fabric for Tuxedo Orders.
The Antique cut curl Mojari Khussa Shoe is the perfect choice to accompany your Kurta or Sherwani. Wear them on any occasion and add instant glamour to your outfit. Crafted from Leather and intricately embroidered by hand, they conform to the shape of your feet after 30-60 minutes of wear. For best results wear with damp/wet feet prior to the event to allow the shoe to mould to shape of your foot for comfortable walking.

This Mojari Shoe is available in the displayed UK size. All our shoes are true to size. These shoes should be worn in prior to the event to allow for comfortable walking.
