This past weekend on October 28th the inaugural Midlands Asian Wedding Awards were held at The Vox Centre in Resorts World Birmingham, Sherwani King was one of the privileged few to attend.
The Asian wedding market within the UK is one of the most grand and worth £300 million per year and the MAWAs are here to celebrate the talent within the Midlands. The awards had contenders who cater for everything a client could need for their big day and from the best stationery to the best cake designer winners were judged through consumer and an judging panel.
At Sherwani King, we offer the largest collection of sherwanis for hire in the UK and to be nominated after our first year is a great source of pride for us and along with the Sherwani King team we had Edwin Ladd of Social Frames representing for us. They were the brightest dressed men there drawing attention to their unique sherwani styles. Unfortunately, however, we did not win thank you to all who voted for us.
Wedding sherwanis are a big part of the occasion, guests aren’t just looking at the bride so tell your friends. Sherwani King will return to the MAWAs next year ready to show we are THE PLACE for UK men’s sherwanis!
